How to use the lab

  1. Choose a lab and make a prediction in Guided mode.
  2. Run, pause, or step through the experiment. Compare motion, energy bars, and graphs.
  3. Read the explanation and add an optional reflection.
  4. Switch to Sandbox to change the starting conditions. Every change resets the run.

The + sign indicates the positive direction marked in each scene. A negative velocity means motion in the opposite direction. Changing playback speed changes how quickly you watch the experiment, not its physics.

The cart and ramp pause at track ends; their final velocities are preserved. Spring motion continues indefinitely in Sandbox.
